The Imperial Calcasieu Museum (ICM) of Lake Charles has retained Propel Consulting, LLC for development of the organization’s first strategic plan and fundraising strategy. With a vision to move the museum’s forward, these two initiatives will play a vital role in achieving that mission.
The Imperial Calcasieu Museum embodies its 60-year legacy of celebrating the arts while protecting the history and legacy of our Southwest Louisiana roots. The organization works daily to showcase the talent of local and regional artists while providing the seat of historic heirlooms and documents from across the span of our history from the beginning of Imperial Calcasieu to today.
The ICM decision to hire Propel Consulting, LLC is based on the company’s proven track record of helping museums and attractions in the areas of fundraising, marketing, and strategic planning.
“Connectivity is at the heart of our institutional goals – Ari and Marcus’ expertise, professionalism, and pragmatism are all wonderful fits to help steer our museum into the future,” said Stefan Borssen, ICM Executive Director. “Their partnership will be vital and instrumental in helping these goals become reality.”
“We are honored to have the opportunity to work with the board and staff of the Imperial Calcasieu Museum to propel them towards a brighter organizational future,” said Arianna Mace, Propel Consulting CEO and Founder. “We are appreciative of the trust and faith they have put in us, and we are eager to work together in creating a plan that will be impactful for the museum moving forward.”
Board member, Amanda Donaldson, believes that the partnership will not only benefit the museum but also add value to the board of directors. “I’m excited to continue our upward trajectory with the help from Propel,” said Amanda Donalson, ICCM board member. “I’m also enthusiastic about really digging deeper and discovering our Board’s true strengths and weaknesses, and how we can put them to use to further ICM. – Amanda Donaldson
