Arianna Mace

Founder & Principal Consultant, Propel Consulting

Arianna Mace is the founder of Propel Consulting, where she works with leaders and organizations to build clarity, strengthen trust, and lead with intention. Her work supports professionals through periods of growth, transition, and complexity—partnering with them as they navigate responsibility with confidence and care.

Arianna began her professional career in education, working in special education while completing her undergraduate studies. As she earned her teaching credential, she taught first grade and later served in a self‑contained middle school classroom, teaching all core subjects including math, science, history, language arts, physical education, and electives. During this time, she also served as a district lead teacher, supporting instructional quality, collaboration, and peer development.

Alongside her work in education, Arianna spent several formative years coaching young athletes as a high school volleyball coach, recreational track coach, and middle school volleyball and softball coach. That experience shaped her early understanding of team dynamics, development over time, accountability, and leadership under real conditions—insights that continue to inform her system‑level approach to leadership and organizational work today.

While teaching at the middle school level, Arianna also served as an adjunct English instructor at a community college, expanding her experience working with adult learners and supporting development across educational contexts.

After relocating to Louisiana, Arianna taught middle school mathematics and Algebra before transitioning into museum education and nonprofit leadership. She served as Director of Education at the Bayou Country Children’s Museum, where she expanded STEM education and programming, and later as Executive Director. In that role, she led staff, strengthened organizational systems, implemented training and development initiatives, and raised more than $2 million through cultivated donor relationships and strategic partnerships.

Arianna founded Propel Consulting to continue her work with leaders and organizations seeking clarity, alignment, and trust. Through professional coaching, strategic advisory, leadership workshops, and facilitated conversations, she partners with executives, business owners, boards, and leadership teams during pivotal moments of growth and change.

Arianna holds a Master’s degree in Education from the University of La Verne. She has completed the Foundations program through Systems Business Coach®, is trained in iPEC’s coaching methodology, and is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Her work is intentionally thoughtful and focused. Arianna respects leaders as capable decision‑makers and creates space for reflection, perspective, and intentional action—supporting leaders and systems as they determine their own best path forward.

Coaching Philosophy

Coaching at Propel Consulting is rooted in respect for the professional and confidence in their capacity to lead well.

The foundation of this work is the belief that professionals already possess insight, experience, and capability. The role of coaching is not to direct, fix, or prescribe solutions, but to create intentional space where clear thinking, thoughtful reflection, and confident decision‑making can occur.

Propel Consulting approaches coaching as a partnership. Professionals are supported in examining how they think, how they hold responsibility, and how their leadership impacts people and organizations. Through inquiry, perspective, and structured conversation, coaching helps leaders strengthen judgment, build trust, and move forward with intention.

This work centers on:

  • Clarity — helping leaders see situations, decisions, and responsibilities more clearly
  • Intentional leadership — supporting alignment between values, choices, and action
  • Trust as practice — understanding how leadership presence, consistency, and communication shape relationships and teams
  • Respect for agency — honoring leaders as capable decision‑makers who own their direction and outcomes

Coaching conversations are reflective, grounded, and context‑aware. They are shaped by the professional’s role, responsibilities, and real‑world demands. Propel Consulting does not offer one‑size‑fits‑all frameworks or performative leadership strategies. Instead, coaching supports professionals in developing leadership practices that are sustainable, authentic, and effective within their unique environments.

The purpose of coaching is not to accelerate urgency or optimize performance alone, but to strengthen the quality of thinking that leads to confident, responsible action. When leaders think more clearly, they lead more intentionally—and the people and teams they serve are better supported as a result.
